Separate hair to thoroughly wet scalp, then hair. Apply shampoo directly to scalp, thoroughly massage onto scalp and throughout hair strands from root to ends. Shampoo, rinse and repeat. For best results, follow up with a suitable conditioner. For use while in protective style: Lift or separate hair/braids to wet scalp, apply shampoo onto scalp and in between tracks/parts, shampoo, rinse, repeat. For scalp detox and moisture treatment after protective style: Treat scalp with a suitable serum, allow to sit for 15 minutes, massage scalp for 1-2 minutes to loosen dirt and particles, wet hair, and shampoo with the product, lather, rinse and repeat.
